Senior wet dog food is a complete food with an alternative source of protein for older dogs 7 years of age and older.
Not only good digestibility is very important, but also an optimal calcium to phosphorus ratio, tailored to the needs of older dogs.
Peas and lupines have a dog-friendly amino acid profile making them a great source of protein for our four-legged friends. Other beneficial ingredients are potatoes, lentils, millet and zucchini. These ingredients are more easily digestible and thus optimal for older dogs. The algae used (EU-origin) provide the essential fatty acids EPK and DHK (omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids). The fatty acids EPK and DHK are important for the good functioning of the cells. At the same time they work anti-inflammatory.
Adapted formula is to suit senior dogs reduced energy requirements in this phase of life. The nutrient content remains otherwise the same.
